About us

Matchstick Men Ltd is the holding company for G2S, Product Care, Matchstick Men Hub and Design & Trade. Our Finance team sits within the Matchstick Men Hub which is the Shared service provider to the Group.

As our (International) Accounts Payable Clerk your role will include;

• Purchase Ledger duties such as processing invoices, matching, batching and coding,

• Supplier Management including statement reconciliation and on time payment suggestion

• Processing of customer invoices from China (FOB) onto the system and making sure invoices are fully paid on time.

• Bank reconciliations

• Support to UK Sales and UK Purchase ledger and to support any Finance Ad hoc projects

Our ideal (International) Accounts Payable Clerk will have the following skills and experience;

• 1-2 years experience working in a similar position

• Strong Excel skills is essential

• Having experience working on a ERP System would be an advantage

• Team player

• Strong problem solver

• Excellent communication skills

Due to the current pandemic, following initial onsite training the successful (International) Accounts Payable Clerk will then need to be able to work remotely from home.
