Credit Controller, 6 - 9 months maternity cover

We are looking for a bright and tenacious credit controller to join our friendly accounts team. Reporting to the Credit Control Manager and working alongside a small team of credit controllers, you would be responsible for ensuring that invoices are chased to an agreed schedule.

This is a maternity cover for 6 - 9 months, which may be extended. The role will be a combination of working remotely and in the office.

What you would be doing:

• Ensuring accuracy of client details and invoices


• Issuing reminder and follow up for payments, chasing overdue invoices by phone and by email


• Keeping payment records up to date and providing weekly credit control reports


• Processing credit card payments

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Advanced MS Office experience, especially Excel


• Well organised, attention to detail and meticulous approach to work


• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written


• At least a year's experience in credit control


• Other language skills would be advantageous but not essential
