Macildowie are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant/Finance Analyst on a temporary basis to join a very established finance team of a larger business based in Leicestershire!

This is an exciting and fast paced business where you will be involved in projects, be key in helping with automating and testing finance processes, plus have responsibility for month end balance sheet reconciliations.

Experience required for this role include having had previous practical accounting experience starting from ledger level upwards - critically around reconciliations, dash board reporting, and systems. Advanced Excel skills are essential coupled with practical experience of working on different finance system. As you will also be attending meetings with non-finance staff, being a confident communicator is a must along with excellent attention to detail.

This temporary Assistant Accountant/Analyst role will initially be for 3-6mnths.
