What Is The Role?

Joining us as a Credit Controller, you'll report to the Credit Control Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that all debts are collected on time and minimise exposure to bad debt whilst maintaining exceptional customer relationships.

You will hold responsibility for:

Ensuring late payments are chased promptly, obtaining replacement payments for refused direct debits and cheques, in accordance with established credit control procedures

You'll also:

  • Deal with customer queries promptly and with a high standard of customer service
  • Process payments promptly and accurately
  • Ensure complaints and issues are handled effectively and escalated appropriately

Who Are We Looking For?

You'll be able to evidence:

  • Previous experience in a customer contact role
  • Previous credit control experience
  • PC skills including working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Ability to maintain good relationships with customers and internal contacts
  • Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone
  • Ability to work accurately and within deadlines/targets
  • Effective complaint handling and escalation
  • Ability to remain calm in a pressurised time sensitive situation
