Our client, a waste management and renewable energy provider, based in Bedfordshire, is currently looking for an ambitious Senior Management Accountant to join the company on a permanent basis. With excellent progression opportunities in a growing business, this would be an great opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant with the ambition of becoming a Financial Controller in the next few years.

Responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant:

Produce detailed and timely management accounts packs to tight deadlinesWork closely with budget holders to develop and review accurate and accountable budgetsEnsure that all financial systems accurately reflect the actual procedures and transactions of the business.Actively identify any weaknesses in procedures and control and proactively provide and implement solutionsTake a lead role, as directed, within any finance projects/systems developmentSupport month-end Group reporting submissions

Qualifications, Skills and Experience of the Senior Management Accountant:

Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalentAble to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a genuine interest in being involved in all aspects of the businessEffective communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships and present high quality financial informationA self-starter who enjoys a proactive approach to problem solvingAccurate, ambitious and goal oriented
