The role

Reporting to the Head of Monitoring and Assurance, the purpose of this role is to assists the Regulatory Risk Senior Management team to identify, manage and control regulatory risks across the Aegon Group in the UK; the main aim being effective risk management of conduct risk by the effective oversight, reporting, escalation and closure of regulatory breaches and incidents. You will provide technical consultancy and advice on regulatory queries and contributes to the overall department plans to support the development of key processes to ensure the Regulatory Risk function maintains an effective control environment.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and can work autonomously, with a proven record in developing and maintaining excellent relationships with executives and senior management. In addition our ideal candidate must have extensive experience of Regulatory Risk specifically within the Monitoring and Assurance remit, working at pace, while keeping stakeholders updated on the impact of regulatory change.
