Our client is a leading FMCG Business in Leeds, with a real hands on approach. This Management Accountant role will be directly reporting into the Finance Director.

Management Accountant - Leeds

Reporting into the Finance Director this role will entail:

Produce monthly Management Accounts for multiple companies ensuring the balance sheet is fully reconciled, Produce Weekly Flash Reports for multiple companies. Work with key staff to produce Annual Budgets for multiple companies. Work with Key staff to produce Quarterly Re-forecasts for multiple companies. Monitor Cash flow on a daily basis. Ensure cash is adequately controlled and banked on a regular basis. Authorise weekly & monthly payment runs ensuring that full financial controls have been adhered to.

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

• Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience
• Knowledge of month end management accounts reporting into a Director/FD.
• Excellent Excel skills and first rate Microsoft Packages knowledge
• Comfortable with ambiguity and regular change
• SME business experience or ability to perform all areas of basic finance
• Energy, enthusiasm and motivation to facilitate change and challenge existing practices
• Eye for detail, accuracy, process and procedure

Job Offer

Excellent salary on offer £30,000 - £39,000, Study support on offer to the right candidate if needs be, 37.5 hours per week but overtime maybe required in busy peak months.
