Job Details

You will help assist the Head of Finance to manage and oversee the daily running of the finance function. In addition to this, you will work with the accounting team (current team of 10) to identify and drive continuous improvements.

Description

- Help prepare group annual audit and liaise with external auditors

- Prepare consolidated group management accounts

- Assist the Head of Finance to manage and oversee the daily running of the finance function

- Work with the accounting team (current team of 10) to identify and drive continuous improvement in financial analysis and systems

- Maintain the asset and property portfolio

- Assist in preparation of corporation tax returns

- Prepare and file UK group VAT return

- Assist Head of Finance to ensure VAT compliance

- Oversee payroll management

- Prepare group annual audit and liaise with external auditors

- Daily cash management and inter-company transfers

- Any other adhoc duties arising

Profile

Must hold an accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)

Must be strong with excel and have Sage experience

Have been in a similar role for at least 3 years

You will be highly organised and a strong communicator

Job Offer

£50,000 - £57,000

20 days annual leave + bank holidays

work hours - 830 - 5 or 9 - 530
