Job Details

This role is a 6 Month Fixed term Contract as an Interim Finance Manager in the Financial Controls team of a global business.

My client are world leading in their market and work alongside various industries.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of the new accounting system
  • Support changes to existing process and embed new processes and controls as a result of the new accounting system implementation
  • Support management of the external audit relationship
  • Support with month end processes as required
  • Provide support to ensure a robust SOX control environment is in place and risks are appropriately managed
  • Ad hoc projects and technical accounting as deemed necessary by the Senior Finance Manager

Profile

Successful candidate:

  • Qualified - ACCA OR CIMA
  • Accounting system implementation experience
  • Working in external audit, and / or working with / managing external auditors
  • Designing and implementing changes to processes and controls
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills
  • Good presentation skills
