Credit Controller, Bournemouth, £29,000
The Purpose of this Job
As the Credit Controller you'll work as a key part of the finance team, supporting across this energetic, commercially focussed business to help solve issues from order fulfilment to the timely payment of invoices. You'll take full responsibility for the accounts receivable process, including achieving cash-flow, debt and aged-debt targets and reporting of performance against these targets
Your responsibilities as the Credit Controller include:
Reporting of debts to Head of Finance on a weekly basis, identifying high risk debt and escalate collection procedures
Liaising with Account Managers to highlight any concerns
Chasing all customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices, handling customer queries in an efficient manner
Raising Invoices & Credit Notes
Ensuring the accurate maintenance of all Sales Ledger Accounts
Allocating funds received correctly and efficientlyAs the Credit Controller, you'll:
Have strong Excel skills, with experience of V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
Have proven experience of creative problem solving
Be pro-active and organised, with a keen eye for detail
Have the proven capability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Be a strong communicator, with the ability to build great relationships and work collaborativelyYour New Employer
