Our client a much loved local business who despite these tough times is going from strength to strength is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant, ideally 1st or 2nd time move from practice who wants the opportunity to support Board level decision-makers while also progressing through their career.

Position: Financial Accountant

Salary & Benefits: £35,000 - 40,000

This role will give you a broad exposure, where you will be mentored by an experienced Financial Controller.

Key aspects of the role will include:

* Delivery of Statutory Accounts (IFRS, FRS101/102)
* Consolidations
* Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
* Liaising with auditors
* Month-end accounting and reporting

This business has made acquisitions in recent years, as part of their ambitious growth plans its likely that you will gain experience of further acquisitions, valuable on your career path as you take a leap towards becoming a financial controller.

Our client is seeking a technically strong accountant who is qualified or at finalist level.
