Senior Credit Risk Analyst
London
£40,000 - £65,000
A fast-paced and fast-growing fintech start up focusing on a niche industry within the Unsecured lending space. They are on the back of a big funding round earlier this year, highlighting investor confidence in the business model and world class leadership team.
THE ROLE
Key to these plans is hiring a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to help grow the portfolio within risk appetite. The focus will be on:
- - Designing data-driven underwriting strategies
- - Increasing customer originations whilst balance credit risk of new customers
- - Growing the portfolio whilst monitoring risk profile and optimising portfolio performance
- - Use analytical and technical skills to interrogate data and drive insight into strategy and portfolio performance
- - Optimise use of external credit reference agency data to enable better decision making
- - Present ideas to senior management team
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- - Numerate degree from a accredited university
- - Experience using SAS, SQL, R or Python
- - Experience working within a consumer credit risk role within the UK
- - Experience using 3rd part credit data (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion or other etc)
- - Experience developing or amending Credit Risk Strategy or Policy
- - Experience working with unsecured lending products like retail cards or loans is preferred
- - Experience working on Underwriting and Acquisitions (such as affordability tools, score cut-offs etc) in a growth portfolio would be ideal
