A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead the Trust's busy and friendly payroll and pension team based at Whittington Health NHS Trust.The post holder will manage the payroll and pension team to provide an efficient service to the Trust and client organisations. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the prompt and accurate processing of payroll and expenses payments for the Trust's and external clients' monthly payroll which totals around 6,000 staff.The successful applicant will have excellent management, communication and numeracy skills and be organised and conscientious with an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.The role requires extensive knowledge and experience of using the ESR system, processing payroll elements, statutory regulations, NHS and local terms and conditions, and management of the NHS pension scheme.For further details / informal visits contact:NameJerry FrancineJob titleOperational Director of FinacneEmail addressjerry.francine@nhs.net
