Our fast-growing team is looking for a Senior UK Payroll Specialist who can bring their own unique energy and enthusiasm to work with multi-national companies in the UK region in order to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

"The Senior UK Payroll Specialist will be responsible for supporting other members of the payroll team alongside processing payrolls."

Attributes and Experience Required:
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience of end to end payroll processing, preferably with bureau experience
* Business software experience required: MS Excel, MS Word, Email Apps
* Good knowledge of UK payroll legal requirements, statutory forms and reporting
* Assertive action and decision-making skills
* Excellent time management, administration, and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines
* Team player with the ability to share information and interact positively with others
* Responsible for prioritizing client's payroll and delivering payrolls as required
* Strong communication and collaboration skills

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
* Provide support and expertise to Payroll Associates and Specialists
* Provide payroll training and guidance to team members
* Keep up to date with legislation changes for the UK
* Work with the team to ensure the UK software is developed in line with legislation updates
* Collating all data required for accurate payroll processing in line with tight deadlines
* Checking payroll input and output to ensure 100% accuracy
* Reviewing existing payroll processes to seek out improvements
* Assisting with phone and email queries promptly and effectively from both internal and external customers
* Act as a back-up to the manager during the absence of payroll processing issues
* Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time, and efficiently
