Hollywoodbets has an exciting opportunity available for a Creditors Clerk to be based in Durban, Umhlanga.

Minimum Requirements:

• Microsoft Office - Word and Excel Advanced.
• Must have 2 years experience in the accounting field.
  
• Completed or studying towards a relevant Degree or Diploma.
  

Responsibilities:

• Capturing of bank statements and EODs recons on a weekly basis (all items to be captured by the 3rd of every month except where the 1st falls on a weekend).
• Review of branch paperwork and ensure that all invoices and reports are valid, accurate and complete. (To be reconsidered after discussing with Internal audits)
• Ensure the Junior Accountant is given adequate time to review cashbooks before posting.
• Preparing of monthly bank and EOD reconciliations (by 3rd of every month).
• Preparing of necessary journals once Junior Financial Accountant has reviewed.
• Ensure all documentation relating to the entity are filed in a tidy and timeous manner. Necessary archiving to be actioned as and when necessary.
• Assist Junior Financial Accountant on ad hoc tasks which will enable him/her to fulfill their duties.
