Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Professional Degree or its equivalent in Finance/Accounting
  • At least 5 years working experience preferably from manufacturing background.
  • Possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, administration and communication skills.
  • Responsibilities:
  • To be responsible for the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions including treasury, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, costing, taxation, SST, cash flow etc.
  • To ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports and any other ad-hoc reports.
  • To review, develop and improve accounting and internal control procedures to ensure effectiveness.
  • To ensure all accounting activities comply with relevant statutory Acts, accounting standards, legal and tax requirements.
  • To support/assist administration functions including export/import matters and customs liaisons.
  • To be in charge of IT-related issues and requisition including migration to new ERP system
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agent, bankers and relevant government authorities.
