Core Assurance Senior Associate, External Audit Generalist (Multiple Positions)

Core Assurance Senior Associate, External Audit Generalist (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Philadelphia, PA. Assist a variety of clients to solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Provide clients value through digitization, automation and increased efficiencies. Applying business advice of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, proactively identifying and articulating emerging technical issues. Apply auditing standards and firm audit methodology, reinforce compliance requirements, and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Apply project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk. Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for clients. Support in leading engagements and perform business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus (3) three years of related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, plus (1) one year of related work experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

• Applying the audit approach, including the application of applicable auditing standards and firm audit methodology;
• Managing projects by developing project teams, assessing engagement risks, driving conclusions, reviewing, and delivering projects;
• Assist with developing strategic business issues and trends, anticipating the impact of technology developments on client needs, and surfacing relevant behavioral patterns as potential trends; and
• Working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.

Travel up to 40% of the time is required.
