Senior Finance Analyst | London | Up to £55,000 plus bonus, discount & pension

An online retailer is looking for a senior finance analyst to join their central London team. This role is placed at the core of high calibre finance team and will be business partnering across multiple online categories.

About the role

The senior finance analyst will support the commercial finance team in delivering timely and actionable insights category leads through detailed analysis of the financial performance.

Key Duties include:

• Overview of monthly management accounts for multiple categories
• Production of weekly trading and monthly P&L packs
• Production of budgets and forecasts across categories
• Monthly review meetings with budget holders
• Capex accounting and forecasting
• Provide financial management information to senior management in relation to strategic and operational decisions
• Ad-hoc trading analysis of promotions / offers and pricing.

Person profile

• Newly qualified finance professionals to two years post qualification experience
• Open to industry trained or candidates moving straight from practice or with retail/consumer industry experience
• Ideally previous experience with online/ecommerce retail - through any means
• Technically strong, attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
