Kingspan PLC is recruiting for a Group Internal Auditor. This role has arisen due to the predecessor taking on a FC role within the Group.

This kind of progression is frequently emulated within Kingspan, setting them apart from other companies. Previous members of the Kingspan IA team have assumed lead finance positions across North America. the UAE and the UK. Most have progressed to these roles as senior stakeholders within 2 years PQE.

For many, the travel element of this role is its biggest selling point as the team visits Australia, Asia, Dubai and the USA as well as Europe. When not travelling, the team can work from home rather than being based in an office.

Key Responsibilities

• Plans, executes and reports on audits / reviews assigned by the Group Head of Internal Audit.

• Interprets policy and procedures and applies professional accounting, IT and auditing principles and standards to test and evaluate financial, IT, operational and risk management controls.

• Develops recommendations which have been agreed with management ensuring that the recommendations are realistic and achievable and cost effective and add value to the business.

Key Skills

The candidate will be a qualified ACA or equivalent. Experience working within, or auditing, manufacturing/construction companies is preferable but, not a pre-requisite.
