JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT in STOKE-ON-TRENT, STAFFORDSHIRE - JOB REF: JO24048
Accountancy Elite are very pleased to be partnered with a highly regarded practice in Stoke-on-Trent. The perfect candidate for this role would be a bright, ambitious, tech savvy, a very people orientated person. They would ideally be studying the later stages of AAT ideally have around 12 months previous UK practice experience preparing limited company accounts and be IT literate.

Key Roles and

Responsibilities:


• preparing the annual accounts of limited company clients.

• preparing both personal and business tax computations for review.

• organising your workload so you can prepare accounts and tax returns efficiently within time and budget constraints.

• meeting with the client manager and agreeing the approach to accounts preparation for each client.

• assisting clients with their accounting software, including installation/training.

• attending training workshops.



Candidates Attributes:



• Be currently studying AAT level 3 or 4.

• Roughly 1 years previous experience.

• Have experience of software packages such as Xero or Quickbooks etc would be highly advantageous.



Salary:
£16,000 - £19,000 dependant on experience and value added + Study Package
Pension: Auto enrollment.
Benefits: Benefits package including incentive scheme and discretionary bonus scheme.
Working hours: 9am-5:00pm (FLEXIBLE WORKING BETWEEN 8AM-6PM)
Holiday: 28 days including statutory bank holidays.
Study Support: Full Study Support Package Offered.
