About the role:

This role is all about process improvement, strategy implementation and bringing a strong team together to deliver excellence to clients from all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. Part of this role will also include forging solid relationships with other service lines, to promote the business service line offerings and ensure collaboration across the business.


Key

Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage an exceptional delivery team in the Accounts service line
  • Overseeing the development of its people
  • Ensuring that processess are to the highest standard for excellent client delivery
  • Development of products within the service lines and how they can connect to other business offerings
  • Annual budgeting within context of agreed Service Line plan
  • Monitoring, reporting & delivering on performance against budget


About you:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified
  • At least 10 years accounts experience gained in practice
  • Need to be a great leader who empowers their team, sees commercial potential for growth and development
  • Be able to provide constructive feedback
  • Strong experience with managing teams of individuals
  • Previous expereince within strategic process improvement
  • Ability to build great relationships within your team, the Senior Management Team and clients
  • A fantastic communicator and relationship builder
  • IT literacy with a working knowledge of Word / Excel / PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP including FRS102 and FRS102 1A
