The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer who will play a key role in driving our business forward and ensuring we meet our ambitious growth and profitability goals. Reporting to our CEO and playing a key role in our leadership team and our commercial strategy, you will be responsible for all things financial. Leading a team of 3 and ensuring the delivery of day-to-day best practice and accurate numbers, you will also provide important project analytical insight.

You'll have control overal all aspects of the finance function; agreeing and setting budgets, reviewing cash flow and providing the leadership team with weekly financial reports and updates. You will oversee the production of monthly accounts, review capital expenditure and ensure the successful day-to-day operation of the finance function including purchase leger, credit control, supplier payments and payroll.

The ideal candidate

This role calls someone who is ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified. You'll need proven leadership skills and have the ability to influence as you make your mark on how we operate and "do things." Our business is lean, agile and ready to maximise the opportunities available to us and our customers. As our CFO you'll need to bring with you your proven skills of making a difference and visibly demonstrating the value of the Finance function in an entrepreneurial environment.

You'll need great communication skills - you'll be able to share your ideas, unravel complex issues and influence and challenge in a cross team and client environment. You'll need to be a problem solver and be comfortable making commercial decisions, instigating and leading change.

This is part-time role working 3 days (22.5 hours per week)
