Vargo is recruiting an IT Risk Manager (IRM) for a global business based in South Wales. This well-established and international group, have created this new role to strengthen their IT risk and data security function. As an IRM, you will be the key liaison point between several operational departments and the IT function.

The core function of the role is to support the business in all areas of IT risk. The job will cover a broad scope across the following areas; business risk analysis including risk assessments, reporting, developing the risk framework, project managing change including organising training where necessary. Each day will be varied in nature and will suit someone who is comfortable working autonomously.

Experience required:

• Several years of commercial IT Risk Management experience
• A qualification is desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder management experience
• Knowledge of UK, EU & Global data privacy and information security
