We are looking for an Accountant and Internal Control Analyst.


You will work closely with the management to deliver deep analytics and data that will translate directly into business growth or efficiency improvements.

You are an experienced, hands-on individual with both strong analytical and technical skills and a

business mindset.

As part of a growing business, you will be closely involved in controlling the financial operations of different business units, implementing ways to streamline the financial activities that will ensure smooth and efficient operation of the financial department of the Company.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all the payments by the vendors have been made, verify it, and clear all the lines related to expense
  • To conduct and review audits and assist the auditors to speed up the financial processing of transactions
  • Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
  • Keeping account books and systems up to date.
  • Ensure that financial statements and records comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • To research and study the financial data, conduct ratio analysis, and make subsequent suggestions for improvements

Requirements

  • You are a problem solver with a deeply analytical mindset and attention to detail, always curious and willing to learn new skills
  • Hard-working and comfortable in working with tight deadlines, contributing to a fun, fast-paced, high impact and dynamic environment of Luca Faloni
  • Able to communicate complex findings in a clear, simple way
  • Excellent command of Excel
  • Working knowledge of XERO
  • General Maths Skills
  • Knowledge of the luxury/fashion industry will be considered a plus
  • A bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in accounting, finance, or Economics would also be preferred.
  • Relevant working experience will definitely be an added plus.
