For over 35 years, Golden Bear Products Ltd have been transforming some of the nation's much-loved children's TV characters into high quality toys for both kids and adults to enjoy.We are preparing for a period of growth and looking to recruit a self-motivated, proactive and organised Purchase Ledger Clerk.

What will the role involve

You will accurately process and maintain purchase ledger records and information, ensuring creditors are controlled and paid in a timely manner.You will contribute to assisting the delivery of timely, quality information for and on behalf of the Finance Team.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, the role is accountable for:

  • Purchase ledger - responsible for the whole system from coding invoices through to payment runs.Maintaining monthly Aged Creditors report.
  • Petty cash - responsible to issuing petty cash including posting transactions and monthly reconciliations
  • Cash books - posting payments plus reconciliation of bank accounts for 4 accounts (current account, USD, HKD and Euros)
  • Purchase orders - raising orders for non-stock items
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Financial Team as required
What we expect from you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and solution-focused individual with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail, who is comfortable to influence and challenge processes.You will have 3-5 years purchase ledger experience and strong Excel skills.You will be a reliable team player with the ability to understand and demonstrate our company values and display a can-do attitude, whilst having an appetite to learn new skills.
