Job Summary
The Tax Senior Manager will be part of the EMEA Tax team within the Finance function and, will have oversight of all income tax and indirect tax for Newell Brands' EMEA entities.
The Tax Senior Manager will be based in London, reporting to the EMEA Tax Director, and have regular interaction with the wider Newell Tax team.

Job Summary
The Tax Senior Manager will be part of the EMEA Tax team within the Finance function and, will have oversight of all income tax and indirect tax for Newell Brands' EMEA entities.
The Tax Senior Manager will be based in London, reporting to the EMEA Tax Director, and have regular interaction with the wider Newell Tax team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with tax planning strategies, projects and transactions by providing technical analysis and engaging with a cross section of functions at all levels within the Newell Brands group.
- Support the development of plans for the utilization of tax attributes.
- Provide tax support to deliver efficiencies to the Group's operating structure both within EMEA and internationally with the wider Group.
- Identify and address developments in international tax law impacting the Group's organization and operating structure.
- Effectively manage local tax controversies; work with local finance teams and in-country advisors, gather and prepare appropriate supporting documentation.
- Support the annual compliance processes for the EMEA entities, including review of tax computations and US tax provisions.
- Manage and review EMEA country tax matters, including but not limited to foreign income and non-income tax audits, document requests from foreign offices, BEPS related requirements and compliance, MDR reporting and, transfer pricing risk assessments.
- Being a business partner to the divisions by providing oversight on issues such as employment taxes and indirect taxes and, providing day-to-day tax advice to the business units to assist with decision making.
- At least 7 to 10 years of experience in the field, preferably within complex multinational companies
- Experience in Financial Audits, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, Cross-border M&A
- Experience in efficient domestic and foreign tax planning
- Able to work with stakeholders from different levels
- Action oriented and takes initiative. Able to work independently.
- Strong tax technical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written skills with an ability to influence, engage and explain to colleagues within the organization
- Able to deal with ambiguity
- US GAAP experience desirable
