Newly-created opportunity to join a thriving, acquisitive service provider as Financial Controller. Operating in a high growth sector, our client is based in a beautiful location and is easily reached from the likes of Oxford, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Bourton-on-the-Water and the surrounding Cotswold area.

The role has a strong reporting focus with responsibility for statutory and quarterly reporting. It would be advantageous also if you have some experience of taxation although this is not crucial. There will be a degree of interacting with external parties and the opportunity to draft Board proposals. Furthermore, you will be tasked with producing budgets and providing insight to colleagues around investment appraisal models.

The role will be a mixture of doing and supervising the work of others and there are opportunities for progression. We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-business environment. You'll have strong statutory accounting knowledge, good knowledge of VAT and tax and excellent IT skills.
