Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a Private Equity backed Services business based in Newbury in their search for a Finance Assistant.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will play a keen part in supporting the finance team, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and month end close. This position will also be critical in assisting the business move towards a more process driven, automated finance function in which you will be given control to make the changes you think are necessary. As financial information becomes clearer through Excel, you will also have the chance to analyse several data sets that will be critical to updating billing information.

Our client is looking for a career driven, part qualified Accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) who is strong with process improvement and confident at manipulating complex data in Excel. You will be effective at prioritising your time in an incredibly fast paced finance function and have a desire to progress beyond this role in the future.

SALARY:
£30,000 - £33,000 + STUDY SUPPORT
