A fast-paced PE-backed business, expanding rapidly through both organic and acquisitive growth are looking for an ambitious Group Finance Analyst in a newly created position.

This is unrivalled opportunity for a commercially focused individual with a strong footing in data analysis to directly support the CFO and the investors by helping to provide insight and analysis to help drive the performance of the business.

The role would suit a bright 2-3 years PQE accountant, with an enthusiasm for data and IT and a can-do attitude - who wants to get involved in helping to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Commercial analysis, determining trends, identifying opportunities and weaknesses
• using the group's proprietary Data Warehouse, and group wide General Ledger
• Liaising with Private Equity shareholders on performance trends
• Power BI and DW Superuser
• Work with IT on dashboard development within PowerBI
• Monitoring the integrity of daily reported data from the DW, and maintaining monthly reconciliations
• Developing professional board reports using GL and DW output
• Microsoft Dynamics "SuperUser", maintaining CoA, legal entity setups
• Extensive modelling of performance, liquidity in Excel

Core skills:

• Qualified Accountant
• Advanced Excel (Macros)
• Experience of using external live data sources linked to Excel and other Office tools
• Understanding and experience of developing financial models
• Strong Powerpoint skills
• Power BI experience
• Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
