Job description:

We are looking for an interim FP&A Controller to join the team based at our site in Sheffield ASAP for a period of 5 - 6 months. You will be responsible for Supporting in financial planning, budgeting and analysis. Financial support for programs/functions through financial results, reviews, planning and forecasting of financials, tracking project costs and support expenditures.

Responsibilities

  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecast.
  • Lead planning cycles including developing estimates, operating plans / forecasts / reviews, budget, LRFF(3 year plan); OP (operating plan/budget) and corporate reporting
  • Be responsible for quarterly closing / estimates and develop reliable estimates of product sales, contribution margin, and base cost; communicate current results and estimates to business leaders
  • Help create long range plans and short range forecasts, understanding / evaluating key business drivers
  • Track progress against plans at a granular level; recommending actions to get to planned performance for the operating teams
Required profile:

Experience required:

  • Wide and varied practical experience & exposure - Sales Co, Factory, Group / Head Office.
  • True operational finance background working with Operations / Senior Management
  • Demonstrated understanding of a walk/bridge concept.
  • Have used standard costing with resulting variance analysis and corrective actions.
  • Large co of size, preferably public not private. US/UK owed Global Multi National not just domestically owned.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience from larger international manufacturing company.
