Radis Group have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Manager to join our team based at our head office in Tamworth.

The role of Radis is to provide outcome focused, re-enabling care for a range of Service Users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. The care provided is client-centered and ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.
About the role
As a Payroll Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing a small team based at our head office. You will be responsible for implementing processes to drive improvements and efficiencies to the department and the wider business. As the business continues to grow you will be responsible for ensuring continuous improvement for the department to ensure the payroll process is accurate and efficient to meet with the demands of the business. The role includes managing and maintaining multiple pension schemes. You will also be assisting with the installation and migration of a new payroll system.
You will Assist in ensuring that all payroll related items are correctly recorded in the Group's accounting records whilst ensuring the companies abide with all current HMRC rules regarding pay and employment. Liaising with department colleagues, branches and other support team members to provide assistance with payroll related matters. You will also assist in preparing end of period accounting reports, exception reports, statistics and analyses and undertaking all end of year processing for the HMRC submissions.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role
• Extensive Payroll Experience (High volume, multi branch)
• Supervisory / Management experience is essential
• SAGE 50 payroll is essential plus use of other systems would be advantageous
• Demonstrable track record of system and procedures improvement
• Strong Excel Skills
• Experience of TAS accounts or Sage Line 50 would be advantageous
• Some familiarity with ETMS/Database time recording systems would also be advantageous (e.g. CM2000, Webroster, or similar)
• Up to date knowledge of HMRC rules and regulations
• A willingness to learn and develop
• Previous system installation/migration experience would be beneficial
