The Finance Analyst is responsible for finance reporting aspects of the UK business, assisting both Business Development and the Account Management team and ensuring the Senior management team receive the relevant information in a timely and accurate manner. This position also supports the business with additional adhoc finance support where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial analysis of new business and existing client base.
• Supporting the Commercial team in financial analytical and reporting requests where needed.
• Responsibility for owning the KPI reporting models to ensure all prospecting information is presented in a timely and accurate manner.
• Supporting the Senior Finance Analyst with business partnering to help drive efficiencies within the cost structure of the business.
• Responsibility for analysing and presenting client profitability and costings of new business tenders.
• Responsible for ad-hoc financial presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assistance with all adhoc finance support where needed and to support the development and workload of the finance team.

Experience Required

Essential:

• Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience of working with senior stakeholders
• Experience in an analytical role
• Ability to understand complex data and interpret this
• Strong drive for process improvement and refinement
• Excellent IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint)
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to work on his/her own initiative
• Team player
• Ability to multi-task and to handle conflicting and tight deadlines

Desirable:

• Experience in the logistics/supply chain Sector
• Previous experience working within a pricing role
• SQL database exposure
