PART TIME MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (21 HOURS) TEMPORARY - PERMANENT (Preston)

An exciting local employer within the Charitable sector in the Preston area are recruiting for a Part Time Management Accountant to join their fantastic team. This role will start on a temporary basis, with a few to turning permanent after a 6 week period. This is a very exciting time to join the organisation that has very exciting projects in the pipeline!

Your new role

Your role will involve producing monthly management accounts, as well as preparing budgets & forecasts, reporting, and financial business partnering. You will support with balance sheet reconciliations as well as cash flow forecasting. You will also produce annual financial statements and produce in depth and timely analytical reports to the senior managers of the business.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a fully chartered or Part Qualified Accountant - very near qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA), with a proven track record of thriving in finance roles within the public or private sector (Experience working in the charitable sector would be a big advantage). You will have very good interpersonal skills and have the natural ability to build relationships internally and externally. You will be a strong IT user, with good finance systems experience and be able to challenge process and take risks where required with the organisations best interest in mind at all times.

What you'll get in return
