Axon Moore are working with a highly prestigious organisation in the recruitment of a Finance Manager - Business Partnering for a period of 6 months.
The position will see you lead the management accounts team and offer a pro-active business partnering service to senior colleagues across the business. You will work extensively with colleagues across the whole of finance, in addition to management in both commercial and operational areas.
Key duties / responsibilities will include:
• Leadership of the management accounts and business partnering team
• Production of the monthly management accounts with associated analysis
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliation / reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting / re-forecasting
• Partnering with budget holders to ensure appropriate budgets are set and managed effectively over the course of the year
• Supporting the group reporting team's external reporting cycle
• Accounting systems ownership and development
• Involvement / leadership of a variety of business improvement initiatives
• Ongoing process and control improvements
• Team development
Key experience / skills required:
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong academic background.
• Strong recent experience of managing and delivering timely, accurate and meaningful management accounts, performance reporting and KPIs
• Hands on experience of financial and management reporting, working capital management within a large company environment
• Integration of data from multiple systems into consolidated reporting formats
• Experience of managing and developing a team would be highly desirable
• Demonstrable experience of speeding up reporting processes would be highly desirable
• Must be able to prioritize projects and/or business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as is the ability to influence at all levels
