Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an Operations Assistant Accountant -
The Company: is part of a dynamic fast growing management group with operations all over world. Established for over 25 years the company employ a dynamic team of over 500 and generate revenues in access of £100m.
The role:- A varied accounting and administrative role supporting the business managers and finance with the day to day operations and accounting of the business. Reporting to Head of Operations duties will include, managing all invoicing and expenses, pricing and p&l reconciliation, ledger controls, financial accounting, assisting through all month end close off and maintain key spreadsheets for monitoring and making trading reports and decisions.
Support the research team gathering data analysis and creating excel models to support findings. Manage the daily trade cycles and reporting requirements, liaising with brokers and custodians on trade settlements, pricing and fund reconciliations,assisting the Fund Managers with maintaining the Order Management System, cash flow management and some key spreadsheets for monitoring the portfolios and enabling trade decisions.
The person: graduate, part qualified CIMA,ACCA,ACA with at least 3 years' experience in commerce or industry, or a candidate with relevant experience coming back to the workplace.
Perhaps with an understanding of financial services this is a full time hire for a detail minded passionate, individual keen to get involved and work as part a of a small team. Bright, keen, proactive, a self-starter understands improving systems and processes. A logical thinker with good problem-solving abilities, hard working, organised and efficient
Excellent Excel skills - experience of building complex spreadsheets.
