An automotive component manufacturer with future projects and long term stability require an Assistant Financial Controller to support the Plant Controller in controlling expenses and income streams. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with experience in automotive.

Package: £40,000 - £45,000 p.a.

The Role

Reporting to the Plant Controller you will hold the following

responsibilities:


-Assist the Controller in all aspects of financial reporting.
-Analyse profit and loss balance sheet to ensure financial integrity is maintained.
-Assist in budget and short-term forecast preparation, profit/loss, cashflow and balance sheet.
-Complete full balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis with appropriate follow up.

The Person

Educated to qualified accountant level you will have the following experience:

-Previous experience in a fast paced automotive environment would be advantageous.
-Strong IT skills with excellent ERP system knowledge is essential.
-Internal control and SOX exposure is essential.
