The Job

In this role, you will be managing the GL reporting and ensuring high quality processing of journals. Adhering to GAAP, you will provide accurate data upon analysis of results and variances. You will be responsible for :

• Maintaining fixed assets register.
• Working with AR/AP teams on month-end closing activities.
• Preparing reconciliation schedules as well as month end closing and monthly reporting.
• Analysis and providing explanations of fluctuations
• Liaising with auditors and preparing audit schedules.
• Supporting in related tasks as assigned

The Profile

• You have a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance.
• You have at least 4 years experience within an Accountant (G/L) role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
• You are highly skilled in advance Microsoft Excel.
• You are meticulous and pay strong attention to detail.
• You possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• You are a strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and can manage multiple stakeholders
