It will take your existing accounting skills and allow you to develop an understanding of the wholesale asset management industry (hedge funds and private equity) and applicable prudential regulation to become a trusted advisor in the financial rules that these clients are governed by.As an Accountant your duties will include but not limited to:Manage a portfolio of FRR service client relationships in conjunction with other team membersResponsibility for the timely collection of information and data relating to the relevant area of work.Responsibility for the completion of monthly management reporting and analysis, and quarterly VAT returns for your portfolioPreparation of annual financial statements drafted to comply with UK GAAP/IFRSPreparation of year-end audit files to assist supporting clients through the audit processPreparation of monthly regulatory capital forecasting in accordance with the applicable Prudential rules for your portfolioPreparation and lodgment of FCA returns on FCA's online GABRIEL system.Involvement in preparation of financial projections for firms seeking FCA authorizationAssisting with the financial aspects of Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process ("ICAAP")Contributing to the development, implementation and review of procedures used to maintain the financial recordsAssisting the Team Leader with ad hoc projects as advisedKnowledge, skills and experience required The ideal candidate will: Recently qualified and holding a recognised professional accounting qualificationLooking to move into a growing, financial services-focused practiceLooking to develop expertise in regulatory accounting, in particular prudential capital planning, monitoring and reporting.Solid client relationship focusEntrepreneurial mindsetStrong sense of team to collaborate with FRR Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)Possess an excellent work ethic and can-do attitudeBe highly organised with good attention to detail
