This is ideal for any practice trained accountants with a strong financial accounting ability.
This role will be the Finance Manager of a medium sized shared service centre, with a close knit team reporting into you.
You will have the autonomy to improve processes, create efficiencies, and push for excellence in the department.

This Finance Manager role has been created due to an internal promotion; the current FD has been promoted 4 times in 10 years. So if you are wanting to come in and join a progressive team, this could be for you.
Although you will manage a small team, the ability to work in an efficient and autonomous manner is key to the success of this role.
We want to speak to practice trained, fully qualified ACA / ACCA accountants who can: work on financial accounting / tax / consolidation / audit work, lead on consolidations, improve current processes and put your own stamp on the department.
Description
The key responsibilities for this Manchester City Centre based Finance Manager role will be as follows:
- ACA / ACCA practice trained is an essential requirement
- Either an Audit Manager making your first move into industry, OR a 2nd / 3rd time mover looking for a step up into a new role
- You must be able to work in Manchester City Centre (brilliant location and enviable office space)
- Strong technical skills: deliver statutory accounts for 5 entities, US GAAP responsibilities, tax and VAT duties, consolidation of legal entities
- Show an initiative for process improvements: lead on a project to make the shared service centre become more efficient operation
- Management of the shared service centre day to day activities and the team

- ACA / ACCA practice trained (essential requirement)

Job Offer
