12 Month Contract (Maternity Cover)

Based in Chelmsford. CM1

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part or newly qualified Accountant who's looking to develop their experience by working closely with our Financial Controller and supporting the business meet its financial reporting objectives and obligations in an efficient, timely and sustainable manner. The Assistant Financial Accountant will play a key role within the team, supporting in the production of the monthly reports including the P&L and Balance Sheet.

The successful candidate will have;

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Newly or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA or ACA)
Experience of balance sheet reconciliation
Experience of preparing and monitoring financial reports, annual budgets and forecasts
Experience of using Accounting software packages
Advanced user of Microsoft Office - Outlook, ExcelYou would be expected to support with;

Contribute to the company's finance function
Assisting with monthly P&L reporting
Assisting with balance sheet reconciliation
Reviewing corporate costs in line with budgets and reporting to the Finance Director
Support in preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reviews
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and modelling where required by the business
