Accounts Payable Supervisor

Vitae is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a highly respected entity based Watford. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years leadership experience in an accounts payable role and will be assisting the wider Finance team in the accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit notes and staff expenses - meeting all deadlines.

The role will be supporting the Finance manager and supervising the Purchase Ledger team, dealing with the suppliers, supplier queries and the full purchase ledger process.

Key Responsibilities as follows:
* Leading the purchase ledger team
* Ensuring that supplier terms and rebates are set up correctly on the system and adhered to
* Processing invoices and dealing with supplier queries
* Processing the weekly payment run and allocating accordingly
* Statement Reconciliation
* Working closely with internal departments and suppliers to solve problems
* Sending remittances
* Handling exceptions or urgent payment requests
* Payments and online banking Key Requirements for the role
* Proven experience of running a Purchase Ledger is essential
* Supervisory experience is essential
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Problem solver and used to a busy environment
* Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge
* Good knowledge of financial systems
* Experience of working in a product led sector
