A leading healthcare business is seeking a high-calibre Assistant Finance Manager. In this job, you will support the Malaysia business unit.

About this Assistant Finance Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Malaysia finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the month-end financial closing for all companies complete within the deadline advised by the superior

Review the financial statement of all the companies to ensure all entries has been captured accurately

Monitor the AR and AP ageing on the monthly basis to ensure it been update accurately within the ageing days

Review bank reconciliation to ensure it is tally with the balance sheet and bank statement

Prepare management meeting report, cash flow and AR report for the group

Ensure the audit and tax submission within the stipulated time

Liaise with external parties such as auditor, tax agent and bankers on any other enquiries

Assist with IRB audit and enquiry regarding financial information

Perform any ad hoc tasks given by superior as and when required

To succeed in this Assistant Finance Manager job, you need to be a chartered accountant and familiar with the full sets of accounts.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or professional qualification from a recognised accountancy body

Four or more years of relevant work experience in a related field

Preferably with an audit background (consolidation experience) and conversant with the IFRS

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
