Job Summary

Responsible for Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) for all materials required for the various projects.

    Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) for all materials required for thevarious projects.
  • Ensuring availability of stock to support the projects from kick-off to handing over of completedprojects.
  • Identify various stock movements according to their value, end-users, applications.
  • Physical receipt inspection and storage of materials in their right quantities
  • Managing various stock levels and ensuring non shortage of materials
  • Arranging and segregating materials in their corresponding locations
  • Optimizing material control to prevent lost time and wastage for the material
  • Responsible for delivery of materials to various sites as required
  • Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately anyunsafe practice/ condition at the warehouse
  • Issuing of goods to user departments and various construction sites
  • Supervising of the storekeepers in receiving goods into the warehouses and stores
  • Preparing monthly reports to the management.
  • Liaising between users and suppliers to ensure quality deliveries.
  • Maintain and deliver a consistent flow of goods and services.
  • Submitting purchase requisition for goods to be re-ordered.

  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bsc. Business Admin / MSc. Supply Chain Management / Chartered Institute of Purchasing andSupply (CIPS)
  • 5- 8 years of relevant work experience in Construction or Real Estates
  • Have rich experience in sources of wide range of construction materials
  • Well-developed Word and Excel skills are required.
  • Must have strong experience with planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivating.

  • Package: Gh 4,200.00 to Gh 5500.00
