Treasury Solicitor / Security Charging Manager

Bedford with flexible working (Home based initially due to covid19)

Full Time - 37 hours per week

£45,000 - £50,000

To support these objectives, our client is looking for a Security Charging Manager who, working with the Asset & Liability Controller, will deliver our client's security charging strategy in all financial and legal aspects.

What you will be doing:

Working with the Group Treasurer to ensure security is available to support the Association's funding requirement

*

Continually reviewing existing properties to ensure valuations are carried out, meeting funders covenants and looking to improve the security value of assets already in charge

*

Project managing the provision of Certificates of Title for properties, identifying and resolving restrictions in order to upgrade Mortgagee Exclusion Clauses and other issues in property documents such as Section 106's, nomination agreements, transfers and leases to achieve MVSTT.

Managing the Asset Charging Assistant

They'd love to meet someone with:

A strong understanding and experience of all aspects of security charging

*

An understanding of the conveyancing and development process and key lender requirements

*

Able to read effectively, understand and interpret lease agreements, legal charges and related statutory regulation and legislation

*

Strong interpersonal skills to develop good relationships and able to communicate, both written and verbal, with the ability to produce meaningful summary reports and proactively influence the achievement of key result areas

*

Be methodical, attention to detail with the ability to think analytically, critically review and apply logical problems-solving skills
