We are currently working on behalf of a forward thinking, innovative business who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team based in Cambridge.
You will work directly with the Head of Finance and will be responsible for the day to day finance transactions in order for the Accountant to produce the quarterly accounts, the main areas of responsibility are as follows -
- Entering and coding purchase invoices
- Reconciling credit card statements
- Preparing the supplier payment runs
- Reconciling the bank for monthly sign off
- Creating the sales invoices
- Reconciliation of the nominal accounts
This role would suit somebody that has gained some experience in finance but is now looking to take on more responsibility and take ownership of your own workload, you may be working towards completion of your AAT or be looking to start CIMA or ACCA, study support will be offered with this role.
