SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT in BELPER, DERBYSHIRE - JO24000

Accountancy Elite are yet again partnered with a firm steeped in local history who due to continued growth are looking to recruit a semi-senior candidate.

This is an amazing opportunity for a practice accountant who will be AAT qualified and some stage through their ACCA or ACA qualifications.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Preparation of statutory accounts for Limited companies, Sole traders and Partnerships.

• Corporation tax computations as well as small amount of personal tax return work.

• Preparation of management accounts for a variety of clients.

• Preparation of VAT returns and reviewing of VAT work from more junior colleagues.

• Maintenance of strong relationships with new and existing clients is a key part of this role as well as client visits so ability to interact in a professional and confident manner with clients is a must.

Candidate Attributes:


• AAT qualified as a minimum and ideally studying ACCA/ACA with 2 years practice experience.

• Good practical experience of accounts and tax work in a practice environment.

• Bright, Bubbly and full of ideas.

• Possess good IT & communication skills.
