Performance Manager who possess specialist knowledge in Accountancy to share their expertise and experiences with a diverse team of Accounts professionals including; Specialist Trainers and Skills Coaches across the
Accountancy Level 3 and 4 programme. We are looking for motivated leaders who can provide a meaningful experience for our learners in line with our customer promise and devise, implement and share departmental strategies and collaborative across the wider business and key stakeholders.

Summary of role

Manage an effective, high performing, high achieving team, who deliver the highest standard of teaching & learning in order to achieve the key goals and objectives in line with the organisational strategy of Babington. Drive performance and accomplishment of department strategy objectives through inspirational and motivating leadership.

Brief summary of principle accountabilities

Provide inspiration management to your team, ensuring delivery meets or exceeds a range of operational KPIs, and internal and external quality benchmarks that ensure our delivery is robust and sustainable.

Inculcate in your teams our Babington values, ensuring that our actions and behaviors are consistent with our high standards.

Manage a high achieving, high performing team through direct coaching, training, and development with exceptional collaboration and camaraderie, creating a supporting and conducive working environment.

Ensuring delivery provides meaningful experiences for our learners and is in line with our customer promise.

Ensure the quality of the department reflects Ofsted grade 2 provision as a minimum by interpreting and articulating Education Inspection Framework (EIF) standards to the team, maintaining staff competencies through targeted continual personal professional development (CPPD) activities and strengthening performance.

Promote an agile managerial approach to colleagues and stakeholders, whilst promoting continuous professional development and ensuring compliance with key behavioural expectations.

Create and communicate directives along with key performance indicators (KPI's) for each role within the business area, ensuring a seamless link to departments objectives, Babington Strategic Goals and Core Values.

Conducting and supporting the Quality and Service Standards team with embedding quality assurance checks including: Health and Safety, Wellbeing, Prevent, Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding.

Devise and implement strategies for the sharing of real-time, accurate information relating to starts, attendance, retention, attainment and progression of learners against division objectives.

Undertake accurate assessment of staff performance by tracking KPIs in monthly 121 and caseload review meetings.

Analyse existing knowledge and skills of current staff members in comparison to those required to undertake their roles and to encourage continuous professional development.

Support in shaping the direction of our solutions design, by participating in our continuous improvement processes and lending your subject matter and operational expertise.

Be well networked in your area to understand local stakeholders, and feed into other forums as appropriate (for example, trailblazer groups, local provider forums and so on).

Support the Head of Delivery and Operational Business Partners to manage client relationships and become a trusted advisor to our client base.

Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent (E)
Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent) teaching qualification or willingness to acquire one

Level 3 Certificate Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) qualification or willingness to acquire one
