Job Details

Reporting into the Head of Finance the Financial Controller is responsible for the accuracy of the accounts, the management of AP, AR, payroll, the balance sheet, cash flow and for overseeing the newly expanded financial accounting team in their day to day operations. They are the point of contact for all technical accounting queries.

Description

  • Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and reported accurately (e.g revenue recognition, VAT, gift aid, restricted funds, and fixed assets etc)
  • Ensure that data is accurately passed between systems
  • Efficient and Accurate Management of the accounts receivable function
  • Efficient and Accurate Management of the accounts payable function
  • Efficient and Accurate Management of the balance sheet
  • Support Head of Finance
  • Preparation of the monthly cash flow and balance sheet
  • Run the month end and year end close process
  • Statutory Accounts
  • Suggest ideas for improving efficiency's of processes
  • Supervise and Manage Team

Profile

The successful candidate will be technically minded with a dynamic approach. They will be able to confidently manage the team of 4 + a few indirect reports.
