The Role Responsibilities

Strategy
  • Build change management plans that are aligned to overall Programme plans - these should be designed to guide audiences and stakeholders through the change phases, including all training, communications, and support activities required to successfully implement the change
  • Be instrumental in delivering on the change management strategy for the Financial Markets workstream, in particular, but aligning to other relevant workstreams such as CCIB Client Engagement, TB, CF, etc.
  • Define and manage stakeholders, their engagement, and communications throughout the Programme lifecycle, including clients and employees
  • Establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders across the business, ensuring alignment with Programme objectives
  • Develop content relevant for the enterprise-wide Programme that "connects the dots" with other workstreams' transition plans
  • Advise the Programme leads on change requirements, deliverables and activities related to different transition milestones
  • Work with the project team to identify business impacts due to changes being implemented through the transition away from IBORs
  • As part of the central Change team, foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability for our stakeholders
  • Serve as primary liaison to facilitate Programme communications, including clients and employees.
Business
  • Develop communications and training materials specific for the FM segment, across different products and businesses
  • Assist with project communication functions like preparing progress reports and creating presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide consistent, ongoing teamwide and cross-functional communications to keep stakeholders and interested parties informed of activities and progress
  • Establish feedback loops with business and functions working groups to iterate on and maintain content
  • Develop collateral aligned with stakeholders' questions and concerns, which may come in via the central mailbox
  • Manage rollout campaigns in collaboration with the workstream's project team
  • Develop, manage, and evangelise internal and external IBOR Transition content that is aligned with the Programme's Change Management strategy
People and Talent
  • Working closely with the workstream, define training needs, determine content required for each stakeholder group, develop content, and drive the training delivery
  • Ensure appropriate approvals are in place, including that of Legal and CFCC
  • Explore and advise on the most effective channels to deliver training to a diverse audience having different internet capabilities and accessibility

Key Stakeholders
  • Financial Markets workstream, in particular, but aligning to other relevant workstreams such as CCIB Client Engagement, TB, CF, etc.
Other Responsibilities
  • Significant experience working in the FM world with knowledge of Global Banking, Corporate Finance, Commercial Banking, and Financial Institutions.
  • Existing Group stakeholder relationships with people from the business, particularly frontline teams, to understand business needs more clearly and advise the workstream accordingly
  • Experience working on global programmes or cross-functional strategic projects that span across markets and businesses, and involve the necessary levels of governance and project requirements
  • Experience in engaging with external parties to the Bank, such as clients, across all Regions
  • Effective communicator, able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing with full understanding and articulation of proper English grammar in line with the Bank's Style Guide.
  • Energetic self-starter with a proven track record for getting things done in a high-growth, ambiguous environment
  • Highly skilled at building trusted relationships and influencing others, particularly with senior Group stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of the transition away from IBORs and experience working directly or indirectly with multiple aspects of the business value chain, from business and product development to downstream support operations
  • Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture and connect the dots between strategy and operational priorities, as well as translate the strategy into effective execution and tangible outcomes
  • Creative thinking, flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to bring new ideas and approaches to the table, as well as the ability to tailor the approach to meet the Programme's needs and quickly pivot as business circumstances evolve
  • Strong level of comfort with business and technical discussions, with the ability to understand and articulate the business and people impacts of technical actions and vice versa.


Our Ideal Candidate
  • Change Management Practitioner Certification and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Practical expertise in creative collateral delivery, like client-centric material
  • Graphic design experience and presentation skills
  • Excellent facilitation skills for large groups of diverse stakeholders
