Job Responsibilities

Owner of the Acquire to Retire accounting process across entities and direct responsibility for all UK companies, covering tangible and intangible assets
Management and development of the Fixed Asset Accountant
Delivery of fixed asset month end processes in line with Group timetable including monthly accounting close
Ensure asset registers accurately reflect the value of assets in use across the group via reconciliation
Stakeholder in IFRS16 lease accounting processes
Drive continuous improvement and process standardization across the Group
Management of audit requirements as they relate to fixed and intangible assets ensuring clean and timely auditExperience/Knowledge/Skills Required:

Qualified Accountant with some post qualification experience
Experience of managing manual and automated fixed asset registers
Good understanding of Key Financial Controls and experience of operating in an organisation with an excellent control environment
